The Ascension

Christ’s bodily ascension to Heaven forty days after resurrection referred to the ascension mentioned in the first chapter of Acts where Jesus physically spoke to his disciples on the Mount of Olives for the last time.

“Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight” Acts 1:9
