Abram and Melchizedek

Story found in Genesis 14:18

Melchizedek was the king of Salem and also the priest of the God Most High. He met with Abram (Later known as Abraham) after Abram and his 318 trained servants saved his brother Lot from captivity.  Melchizedek  brought to Abram bread and wine as well as blessed him. Our church honors Melchizedek in the prayers of the ordination of the priests and in the presence of our fathers the patriarchs and bishops, who are said to be ordained after the order of Melchizedek.
